Create a mini vacation with a hawaiian theme bedroom

A Hawaiian theme bedroom is great if you're you scratching your head for a new idea for a child themed bedroom, or is it just time for a revamp as your child has outgrown their old room? Why not create a mini oasis with a Hawaiian theme bedroom?

Decorating a kid’s room is fun, and a great adventure to involve your child. Soon they will end up with a room they love.

The essence of Hawaiian room is to keep things relaxed and to promote sense freeness.

Choose a color scheme –

With a Hawaiian theme it can be for a boy or girl and a color scheme that fits your child’s personality is a great start the room. The room could be subtle and sweet, pale blue sky, sea shell pink and explosive with color like reds oranges and blues. If your boy has a vibrant personality then maybe you should consider bright yellows and oranges, and for the girls pinks, oranges and reds.

Let in the light -You want to keep that feeling of relaxation so you needs to let in the light, just a simple thing as using a lighter color on the walls will brighten the room.

The hibiscus -Hawaiians are known for their floral prints on fabrics, the flower is the hibiscus. Flora fabrics are a great touch to a room and are an excellent for child’s bedding. the trick to fabrics is to pick a pattern and stick to it using it throughout the room with colors to coordinate it.

Furniture -

Furniture for your Hawaiian bedroom theme should be lightweight , simple and with clean lines. Wicker furniture can add great effect such as a seat and floral padding. Just remember nothing to formal.

Decorating touches

Add a bamboo blind or matt on top of desk tops.

Use Flower shaped throw rugs.
